Excerpt from the poem ‘Take Me’ by Leni King

Take me

Take me away from the daily grey

To bask in the pink sun

Whisk me off on horseback

Towards the castle

Of your power

Embrace me as a babe in your arms

Forgetting people and place

Duty and face…..

  1. very romantic! I can just picture it in my mind, great visual projection through your words. I also like the sense of vulnerability, I mean who doesn’t want an embrace!
